Hello! Welcome to my first blog post! I was inspired by Mackenzie Horan, of Design Darling, to make a 101 in 1001 list. What we’ve got here is 101 goals that I intend to tick off in the next 1001 days. It’s a great format because it allows you to dream big without over committing yourself.
This fall some of my friends from high school and I worked our way through a seasonal bucket list we christened “Fall Shit”. It was a great time time, encouraging us to get together and venture into the world beyond brunch. In the spirit of getting the most out of my free time I’ve started out with seasonal subsections with the sort of high jinks I envision myself getting up to in my idealized future.
The fifth section is a mishmash of treasured, through hell and high water, long-term goals and smaller aims – “make a soufflé” doesn’t stand up to “graduate college” but they’re gonna coexist. Overall I hope 101 in 1001 will help me maintain consciousness of what I want to be doing with my time.
